== Unit Weapon Plane == === Description === Validates that the '''Unit''' can use a weapon that can target either ground or air units. === Exemple Use === Premade Core Files are already available for use, named as: "Target Attacks Air" and "Target Attacks Ground". This type of validator ressembles a lot to "Target can attack" from the [[Data/Validators/Unit Ability|Unit Ability]] validation, which checks if the unit simply "has" the ability to attack, and also ressembles to "Unit is attacking" from the [[Data/Validators/Unit Order Queue|Unit Order Queue]] validation which checks if the unit is currently using the attack ability (even if it's not [[Data/Validators/Unit Weapon Firing|Weapon Firing]] which is another validator by the way). In this case, we're rather looking at the point where it is only essential which plane it can attack, nothing more, nothing less. This is mainly determined by the Target Filters on any [[Data/Weapons|weapons]]. * An interesting use is for auto-cast abilities regarding AI. Let's suppose that an Assault Viking will only cast Fighter Morph is there are only structures on the ground, and no units. Then this will comdemn the Viking if there is a Missile Turret in there. In this case, an [[Data/Validators/Enumerate Area|enumerate area]] validator containing a [[Data/Validators/Combine|combine]] of type "Or" could use this validator looking for anything that can attack air, along with a [[Data/Validators/Unit Filters|filter]] validator of type "Not Structure target" to exclude anything other structure could be placed on the auto-cast validator of Fighter mode, prevent the viking from casting Fighter mode, until all anti-air units are destroyed. == Field Categories == === Find === Should this unit be able to attack (ex:"Ground") plane ? If yes, then this field should be enabled. If not, then this field should be disabled. === Other Unit === (Unsure) Either it validates as well this unit's weapon plane cability, either it tells that the main unit is to be able to aim at this unit, with the specified plane. === Plane === Where the weapon should be able to attack or not: <u>Air</u> or <u>Ground</u>. === Unit === Which unit has the weapon that attacks the specified plane, or should not have it.
